Mark Rice is a Fine Art student currently studying at Plymouth College of Art undertaking a BA hons degree. Rice considers himself an experimental artist, who has explored a vast range of mediums and techniques producing such works as video installations, paintings, sculptural forms installations.  Rice's passion for art was ignited as a child from drawings, doodles and painting , he often references and uses his musical influences and poetic rhythmical notions. A musician himself he plays the the guitar which can be experienced in his video installations works. Site- Specific elements are a familiar theme to his works which have specific narratives , he is not afraid to make mistakes and considers this part of the creative process which is evolving all the time.
